Our stay in Trestles was absolutely phenomenal! It was the perfect place for two families of five. We had plenty of room, were all super comfortable, and loved that one of the two fabulous pools was literally outside our door! Trestles was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and well stocked with everything listed. The margarita machine and tabletop ice maker were added bonuses! The location was fantastic. The townhouse was close to restaurants and the neighborhood was nice and we always felt safe. The best part about the location is that it took less than five minutes to walk to the beach! My sons went surfing, snorkeling, and skim boarding every day. We went fishing off the jetties and even caught some speckled trout and redfish! Another cool thing is that there are sea turtles swimming in the water everywhere. It was such a neat experience swimming with them. We are already planning next years vacation to North Padre Island and we are definitely going to stay in Trestles. 10 out of 10!

Loved it!

I had an issue with receiving a text message asking for a picture of my id less than 24 hours before I was due to arrive, which I didn’t like since I signed paperwork the day I booked it with the company and it never mentioned needing an id, so I was already thinking it sounded sketchy. Luckily, I sent it and seemed to go ok but still frustrated me bc they told me if I didn’t send it, my reservation would be cancelled without a refund so I didn’t have much of a choice. Then once we get there, the code worked, but that was a nerve wrecking experience as well as I did not get a code until 12 hours before and it was supposed to be there 24 hours before which made me skepticism rise even more about this company! I am a planner so to have all of this last minute was stressful for me! The condo itself was nice. It had a funky smell to it, but we got used it. It lacked in towels, we ended up going to buy our own wash cloths, and hand drying towels. There was 1 bar of soap for 3 bathrooms and a kitchen sink to wash hands with, so we bought our own. 2 dishwasher tabs for an entire week stay of 8 people… we had to buy more of those too. No bath mats in the bathroom, no dish soap or dish rags to wash dishes. All in all there were things that could be improved upon, and I’m not running to tell friends a family they need to go, but it was ok. Pool view, so great with kids! You could walk to the beach if you wanted but it’s a decent haul especially toting chairs, children, snacks, etc to the beach.

This was a great get-a-way with my family! Trestles was clean, had the perfect amount of space, and was close to the beach. We really enjoyed our family vacation!

There was issues with none of the upstairs tvs working, I called about one but didn’t realize it was all of them upstairs and never got it working even after making the request, didn’t get my door code and had to call after hours and it wasn’t really the easiest check in. WiFi password never worked so we never had WiFi Was missing four towels in the bottom bathroom the upstairs bathrooms had four towels in each so we made it work but was confusing at first not seeing any towels, my sister got locked out of the unit and had to call the number from someone else phone and they just gave the code without verification of who she was at all so seemed kinda worrisome that people in guest service would give out the code to anyone without even their name .. overall wasn’t the best experience and will probably use a different place next time
