Third time in Cactus Flower and we simply love it. No need to drive anywhere once you arrive - walk out to the beach, walk back to the house. Be sure to stock up on groceries and water and you're all set. We will be back again!

Amazing Location, great views, easy process. House was very well kept and larger than it seemed in the pictures. Another twin size bunk bed we did not know about was available which was awesome and allowed for more space and room. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. Would definitely recommend and can see myself coming back here next time we visit Port Aransas

We booked Cactus Flower for the location, which is great. It is right on the beach with only short walk to the ocean. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay in terms of cookware, although we didn't realize it was on well water and we had to purchase water throughout our stay. A few things to note; the pictures may have been taken a few years ago... it has some wear. The outdoor shower under the property doesn't work, and the area it was in is littered with trash and other random items. There is trash in the grass surrounding the deck as well. There is an outdoor hose we used to rinse sand off so that was helpful. There were some things that could be easily fixed/updated; the sliding door handle was holding on by a thread, the front door code never worked for us without entering it twice, the outdoor hose handle was worn away to rusty nubs. We also arrived at the house at 4:01, and were met with being locked out and the cleaning crew still working. They must have been rushing because although we didn't bring a dog, the floors were still covered in white dog fur from someone else's stay. It wasn't until 4:45 that we were able to check in. The office offered to see if we could get a credit on the stay, but I haven't heard anything since. Disappointing when you are ready to get your beach day started and the emails leading up to the stay say check in is at 4:00 many times over. So, great location, the details and misses were disappointing.

The location is perfect! The only thing I can really think of is the awful smell (like rotten eggs) that the water in the bathroom. Couldn’t get Wi-Fi to work, wouldn’t have cared but had some kids with us doing online college work & they needed it.
