Wait-N-Sea

Kitchen supply’s were sparse. Only 3 coffee cups. Needed more kitchen trash bags and only half a roll of paper towels were there. Door was very hard to open. Half the time it just whirred and never opened. Then we would get lucky and it worked.

This is the perfect place for my family. Private pool is the perfect size for small kids to bigger kids and even adults that just want to float. Master bathroom sink was very slow to drain and the golf cart parking brake was very hard to get set. That is the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star. Love this place!

The house is beautiful the beds are so but they need to get in there asap with an exterminator we didn't want to use anything in the home there were so many roaches in kitchen. also no margarita machine which we were looking forward too. Having the golf cart was amazing and proximity to the town was fantastic! Best feature is definitely the pool much larger than most !

We enjoyed our stay at Wait-N-Sea but with all stays there's some good and not so good. Lets start with the not so good. First the pool is lovely and a good size however it does need a good pool vacuum cleaning there was an insane amount of dead bugs and hair :( in it but after we did a little cleaning up of it ourselves we did enjoy it in everyday we were there. The lights were amazing at night and we definitely saw we had one of the better and larger pools in our little area. Another thing that wasn't so great was that even though it said in the description there would be a Margaritaville machine there was not we told the attendant when we were checking in and another when she was at the property next door and we reported in the app but never got a response so that was a bummer because we were looking forward to using it during our stay but we managed to get by using the blender we brought ourselves. The biggest issue we had was that the location needs a major fumigation. We killed so many and saw so many other roaches and bugs we lost count and that was just disgusting. We asked for them to come and spray which they did bring the spray but there were so many that it really didn't make a difference and we just ended up not using anything in the kitchen that we didn't bring ourselves and we just used lots of foil and covers to keep the bugs away. We would definitely reconsider staying here if the bug issue was taken care of. Now the good...like I said after we cleaned the pool it was amazing and the outside area all together was great. The BBQ pits were helpful and the picnic table and many pool chairs made it easy to relax outside and enjoy our time. The golf cart that came included was so nice as well we used it to cruise around town and go to the beach and the outside shower was amazing for getting all that sand off. The patio upfront was nice as well to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets with comfy furniture and very well marked stairs with the glow in the dark tape. The bedrooms were all great they all had large tv's and the king size beds are a little high but very comfy and the full sized bunk beds were fantastic since usually they are smaller twin sized beds, 4 adults could easily use these and sleep comfy. Overall we really did enjoy our stay and are already looking at other properties on the silver sands website for our next stay.
